Mains of Errol Farm is proud to be one of Scotland’s leading growers of soft fruit

Now in its fourth generation, our family-run farm sits on the banks of the River Tay in the Carse of Gowrie, an area famous for producing exceptional soft fruit for over 100 years.

Our strawberry journey began in 1999, when the late David Arnot planted the first crops. From those humble beginnings, the farm has grown into a thriving business, now run by his sons, Jamie and William Arnot, who continue to build on the family legacy with passion and care.

Jamie’s wife, Alison, plays a key role in bringing the farm to life for visitors, supporting the commercial side of the much loved Fruit Shack.

Today, we farm 70 acres of table top strawberries, growing and packing top quality soft fruit as part of Angus Growers, a producer organisation for Angus Soft Fruits.

From field to punnet, everything we do is rooted in family, tradition, and a genuine love for growing strawberries.
